Macrium Reflect is set up to be intuitive and easy to use with default settings that meet the needs of most people. When creating backups and restores you can access advanced settings if you have specific needs for that task. If you generally have more specific needs then you can change the default settings so that these apply to all of your backups and restores, unless you amend them for an individual task.

  1. From the main toolbar access default settings.

  2. Select the function you want to amend.

  3. When you are happy with your selections click OK, your selections will be remembered and applied unless changed for a specific task.
