More than just creating rescue media and reliable backups, Macrium Reflect is adept at automating the backup tasks for you on a schedule and managing disk space on your backup drives while it does so. All you need to do is check occasionally that you can see the files you expect in the backup location. And, if even that is too much effort, it can send you emails telling you about the success or failure of each backup operation.

By making it easy to create full, incremental and differential images, Macrium Reflect optimizes the time taken and the disk space used by your backups. Incremental images record the change since the last backup, whether that backup was full or just another increment. Differential images record all changes since the last full backup. Both incremental and differencial backup files can be much smaller than another full backup.

When it comes to restoring from a collection of full plus incremental images or a full plus differential image, Macrium Reflect handles that transparently for you too. See Restoring and browsing.
