We've improved the visibility a backup logs by linking backup definitions to logs from both the logs view and the backup files view:

From the 'Existing Backups' view context menu, you can view the 'Successful', 'Failed' or 'cancelled' logs for the backup definition, or you can directly view the log for the selected backup file. .
